Scots Pine
Scots Pine oil is obtained by dry distillation of the needles of Pinus sylvestris. Pine has a long history of use as a medicine, and has been used for centuries throughout Europe to relieve respiratory, muscular and joint conditions.

Its rubefacient and diuretic properties are recognised for use in aromatherapy massage, for the structural system, and cellulite. It acts as an expectorant and decongestant to relieve respiratory disorders and cold symptoms, and acts as a tonic to the whole system as well as boosting the emotions, inner strength and positivity.

Bergamot essential oil is extracted by expression from the ripe as well as unripe fruits of the bergamot orange tree. This essential oil that smells citrus-like yet sweet, is great for creating a relaxed and happy feeling. The name Bergamot is derived from the city Bergamo, Italy, and its essence and flavour have been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years.

Bergamot essential oil is used to promote calm and confidence, relieve stress and tension, and is said to be helpful for those suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder). The components alpha-pinene and limonene are stimulating in nature. Bergamot oil has a long history of use for oily and troubled skin.

Grapefruit essential oil (Citrus paradisi), is a very potent and therapeutic oil, created by cold-pressing the rind of the fruit to extract the oil. It has a delightfully tangy aroma that is invigorating and highly refreshing.  The stimulating action of the aroma on the mind helps to maintain concentration.

It has an uplifting aroma which may help with feelings of anxiousness, bad moods, or stress, and as with all citrus oils, it has invigorating properties which may help with feelings of anxiousness, bad moods, or stress.  A mild euphoric to soothe and uplift the emotions and spirit and help balance a tired and over-stimulated nervous system - inhale to benefit. In skin care its astringent properties can relieve oily skin conditions.
